The victim's relatives rejected the official assertion of an accidental fall. His mother stated that she visited her son in the hospital shortly before he died, and he explicitly told her that he had been severely beaten.
Upon receiving the body, relatives documented extensive contusions, hematomas, and visible signs of violence across his body. The family demanded an independent forensic autopsy and reclassification of the investigation toward intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm or murder.
