- 09.07.2026 — the man died in the intensive care unit without recovering.
Medical Findings
According to the official medical death certificate, the cause of death was:
- closed traumatic brain injury;
- skull base fracture;
- subarachnoid, subdural, and intracerebral hemorrhages.
Forensic preliminary findings indicated that the injuries were consistent with blunt force impact.
Investigation
The Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) in Poltava initiated a pre-trial investigation into the death.
