A 52-year-old man died on 9 July 2026 in a Kremenchuk hospital from head trauma following his detention inside the district TCC premises.

  • 04.07.2026 — the man was transported from the TCC facility in critical condition with severe head injuries to the intensive care unit of a Kremenchuk municipal hospital.

Medical Findings

According to the official medical death certificate, the cause of death was:

  • closed traumatic brain injury;
  • skull base fracture;
  • subarachnoid, subdural, and intracerebral hemorrhages.

Forensic preliminary findings indicated that the injuries were consistent with blunt force impact.

Investigation

The Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) in Poltava initiated a pre-trial investigation into the death.
