Wife

Alina told Suspilne that a friend reported he had been fleeing the TCC:

"Yesterday his friend called me and said Vova had gone to the shop and was probably running from the TCC on the way back."

She said he had served on a contract from about the age of 24 and did not want to serve again because he wanted to raise his son. In Reserve+, she said, he was listed as liable for service and was not wanted at the time. He had been wanted earlier. He was taken off the wanted list at the start of 2026, after their son was born.

What is not officially confirmed

Kryvbas.City reported that police are establishing the circumstances and whether TCC personnel, as witnesses describe, were involved. These reports contain no separate public confirmation from the police or the TCC that a notification team was working in the village that day.
