Circumstances of the incident

Roman Havryliv was born on 25 June 1981 in Stryi. He studied at School No. 2 and at Lviv Polytechnic National University. According to RISU and the Stryi city council, he had spent the last seven years living at a monastery and preparing for monastic life.

Open publications describe the cause as heart disease. No separate investigation or conflicting findings were found.
