Biography

Yevhen Kushnir was a coach from Kropyvnytskyi. He had a valid deferment from mobilization.

Circumstances

He was traveling to Kyiv by minibus. The minibus was stopped by TCC personnel, and he was "roughly pushed out and forced into a vehicle."

An acquaintance, Liudmyla Voitovytska, said:

"The man simply went to Kyiv, having the legal right to do so, that is, a deferment from service... Then uncertainty for the family, a search, intensive care in Smila hospital, and the end."

TCC version

Kushnir died after jumping from a moving bus on the way from the military office to a training unit. The TCC says he did not inform them about his deferment.
