Skrypka Oleh Vasylovych
Chronology
- 08.11.2025 - Oleh Skrypka, 39, a resident of Perehinske in Kalush district, was mobilized through the Kalush RTC and SP in Dolyna.
- 08.11.2025 - the last contact with his family.
- 10.11.2025 - he was last seen near the TCC in Dolyna.
- 12.11.2025 - he allegedly went AWOL. The same day, his data was transferred to the Military Law Enforcement Service and a search was launched.
- 12.11.2025 - the PIK.net.ua portal published a missing-person notice: "May be disoriented in time and space."
- 14.11.2025 - a resident of Rozhniativ called 102 and reported a man's body found in a forest. The body was identified as Oleh Vasylovych Skrypka.
Circumstances of the incident
Oleh Skrypka was mobilized on 8 November 2025. According to the TCC, on 12 November he left his unit without authorization. Two days later, his body was found in a forest near Rozhniativ.
Relatives say that Oleh had not been in contact since the moment of mobilization. People close to him said he could have been disoriented in time and space.
Family's version
The family searched for him on their own:
- They filed six reports with the police - according to them, the police did not respond
- They contacted the Dolyna TCC - they say they were "misled for two days about whether he had been there". According to the family, only on the evening of the second day did the TCC say that Oleh had indeed been there
- The family asks: why did the TCC take the man from Perehinske, only to release someone "inadequate and disoriented in time and space" in Dolyna, and why did they not call emergency services or his relatives
TCC version
The Kalush RTC and SP stated that the man was mobilized on 8 November and went AWOL on 12 November. His data was transferred to the Military Law Enforcement Service for the search.
Investigation status
Police opened an investigation after the body was found. Details of the proceedings have not been disclosed.
